• Chennai, the Capital of Tamilnadu is primarily a developed urban centre. It features a number of industrial and commercial places.

                                         Chennai, located in the Southern State of Tamilnadu, has a hot and humid tropical climate. The place bears tropical climate with mercury rising higher than 40 degree celsius mark in summer. Average temperature in summer is 37 degree celsius and in winter it is 24 degree celsius. The East of the City is lined by the sea - Bay of Bengal. The region receives good amount of rainfall mainly from North East monsoon. Average rainfall received by the City is 1300 mm. The period from November to February contributes the Winter season and is the best time to visit the place. The period is marked by tolerable temperature (24 degree celsius) and low humidity There are little rains during this period.
